Description: Ultra-Storm Guards are designed to go into storm drains where plastic pellets or nurdles are often carried to via wind and/or rain water. There are three different models: (1) The Ultra-Storm Guard (2) The Ultra-Storm Guard HD and (3) The Ultra-Storm Guard HDC. The difference in each model is the size pellet or particle it is able to effectively capture/contain.
Helps comply with Operation Clean Sweep and other “zero plastic resin loss” programs.

Ultra-Storm Guard:
- Designed to capture microplastics left behind from plastics manufacturing plants.
- Captures larger items and floatables like leaves, cigarette butts, paper goods and other debris.
- Easy installation: simply raise the grate, place the Ultra-Storm Guard over the opening, and carefully lower the grate back in place.
Ultra-Storm Guard HD: *Custom Sizes Only, Call For Quote*
- Heavy-duty catch basin insert captures and contains plastic pellets and other contaminants.
- High-strength, 5000 series aluminum construction.
- Built in, stainless steel screens filter out plastic pellets and other particles that are 1.5mm (1,500 microns) or larger.
Ultra-Storm Guard HDC:
- Heavy-duty, aluminum construction catch basin insert captures and contains plastic pellets and other contaminants using removable/ replaceable filtering cartridges.
- Cartridges filter out plastic pellets and other particles that are 1.0mm (1,000 microns) to 5.0mm (5,000 microns) in size.
- Different cartridges are available depending on target pollutant(s).
