Our vision at California Air Tools is about creating the kind of products that provide useful features and outstanding performance.
The goal from the beginning was to design, engineer and manufacture innovative products that would exceed customers’ expectations. California Air Tools strives to provide the highest quality products and the highest level of customer service to every customer every time.
Airspray guns offer the best atomization but the lowest transfer efficiency. An improvement to transferring efficiency was made with the development of HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure of air) and RP (Reduced Pressure) technology. However, while these technologies offer good atomization, they never match conventional spray gun atomization. Many states, such as California, require all paint spray guns to be HVLP compliant and thus prevent the use of conventional paint spray guns in production settings. Airspray guns should be used for metallics, textures, and special effects coatings. They are also great for small production when used with small pressure tanks/pots or as a gravity gun. Airspray guns offer the most fluid control as they are trigger sensitive for dispensing. Airspray guns are somewhat slower as compared to other spray guns and do not do well with high-viscosity coatings.
