Exploring Wagner’s Latest Innovations: Sprint 2 Training Recap
Our Total Finishing team recently traveled to Wagner's facility in Plymouth, Minnesota, for an immersive three-day training session.
The goal? To deepen our expertise on Wagner’s cutting-edge product line and sharpen our skills in powder coating techniques. Wagner’s commitment to innovation was evident in every moment of the training, and we were even able to get hands-on with their advanced equipment.
One standout in our training was the new Sprint 2 manual powder coating box feed unit. Representing the next generation of coating technology, the Sprint 2 combines reliable elements from its predecessors with new, innovative components designed to maximize flexibility and efficiency. This powerful unit is available in two configurations: one that draws powder directly from the original box, and another from a 60-liter hopper, with the option to convert between the two.
Equipped with the PEM-X1 manual gun and the WACON Sprint 2 XE control system, the Sprint 2 delivers precise, high-quality coating with ease. The PEM-X1 gun, designed for superior application efficiency, is a lightweight yet powerful tool that maintains consistent high voltage for excellent coating performance. Its ergonomic design and adjustable settings make it incredibly user-friendly, allowing our team to make quick adjustments for optimal results.
With innovative features like the Quick-Link injector and Digital Surface Optimizer, the Sprint 2 also enables faster color changes and surface optimizations, enhancing efficiency and quality. This flexibility allows us to meet a wide range of application needs, delivering consistently excellent results.
